MINISTRY TO THE MUSLIMS

There are more than one billion muslims around the world. Is it possible for the children of God to evangelise them unto the redeeming love of Jesus Christ and winning them unto His fold?  I'd say, it must be possible for us. Otherwise we will be a great failure before our Lord Jesus. Are we aware of it?

 If so, we need to move as Apostle Paul says in Corithians. "And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law; To them that are without law, (being out without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law" (1 Cor 9:20-21).

Since hundreds of years ago muslims strongly believe that the Bible is abrogated. So they don't read or even try to hear a single verse from the Bible. "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Ro 10:17). "How then shall they call on him whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard?" (Ro 10:14).

In fact, the Koran revealed after 6th century of Jesus Christ. It never says that the Bible is abrogated. But asking to clear the doubts from the Bible "And if thou (Muhammad) art in doubt concerning that which We reveal unto thee, then question those who read the Scripture (that was) before thee. Verily the Truth from Thy Lord hath come unto thee. So be not thou of the waverers" (Koran 10:95).

So if we use Koranic verses (suitable verses about Jesus and the salvation) alongwith the verses from the Bible, our muslim brotheren will not turn their face back from reading of it. 25 times the name of Jesus is mentioned in the Koran. We can use those verses as a narration in our tracts, leaflets or other literature alongwith the verses from the Bible. Through that way we can attract them more to the Bible. When they try to read the word of God, surely they will humble themselves by the Word of God and the Holy Spirit will guide them unto the salvation of Jesus Christ for the glory of God the Father.

Before our Lord's return, it's essential for us, the children of God to reach the Gospel to the Muslim world. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to usward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9).

If we don't convey the Gospel of the sacrificial death and resurrection of Jesus Christ  to the Muslims because of our prejuidice, I'd say it's one of the Satan's trick against doing our devine duty to save them from sin and iniquities to the eternal life. Bible says, "When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die; because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul" (Ezekiel 3:18-21).

We know it is a great risk, great task and most dangerous. It can destroy our life. But at any cost we want to win them to the way, the truth and the life; to win them to the precious faith. It is our goal. We don't fear them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul; but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell (Matt 10:28). For to me to live is Christ, and die is gain (Phil 1:21). Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him; but I will maintain mine own ways before him (Job 13:15).

We believe that the real conversion is not change of religion, but change of hearts with God's love. We love Jesus, for He is our Lord and Saviour, from whom all Goodness and Salvation comes. His Name is above all names. We share the redeeming love of Christ to the Muslim Nations and winning them unto the fold of Jesus Christ.

As we are aware, through the love and grace of Jesus Christ, there are innumerable miracles happening across the body of Christ. We believe that the miracle working power of the Holy Spirit is still working in a magnificent way in the church. We will be capturing these testimonies of love of Jesus Christ; from the body of the church will be made available in a systematic manner. We believe, these testimonies will help the church to recharge their faith in Christ and will eventually lead them to personal relationship with our savior and Lord Jesus Christ.
