Very Important Updates and Prayer Requests from the CEO about the South Asian Earthquake Devastation in October, 2005

October 09, 2005  (South Asian Earthquake; 50,000 died)

According the unofficial reports, around 50,000 people died and more than 100,000 injured due to the earthquake devastation in Pakistan, India, Afganistan and Guatemala. An uncountable number of victims lost shelters and everything. People, who are the image of our God, are suffering for their life. My heart is aching. By God's grace, I'm going to Muzaffarabad, where the earthquake affected too much and thousands died to pray and console the victims as well as encouraging our volunteers for the relief works. Pray for the victims and all of the relief workers.
Tomorrow is the 31st anniversay of my christian life (completing 30 years and entering on 31st year). I have decided not to celebrate it, but will be having a fasting prayer for the earthquake victims as well as for the comfort of the whole world from the disasters and devastation.

October 16, 2005 (Christian families surviving; 48 hours continuous fasting prayer)

Just today I returned back from the earthquake stricken areas. I am suffering of fever, cold and cough. I got it from the quake hit area itself. There I was fully engaged with relief services with our volunteers. Terrible scenes I had seen. Both my body and mind are still so upset. I am unable to describe, but feeling.... Was it the shadow of the hell. They are still having earthquakes.

I brought some bundles of food packets and old clothes. I thought I can distribute them one by one. But I couldn't. Before that, the hungry people jumped over it, grabbed the packets and ate it like anything.

Just three days ago relief works started at several villages. Defence people taking control of it. There are many more villages yet to start relief works.  Those areas are at the elevation of 8300 to 9000 feet high. The weather is absolutely too cold and chilled. Also heavy rain there was. The smelling of the dead bodies, no helps for the injured people, rest of the people are attacked by the diseases, starvation, and creatures and insects all around.

I wanted to continue few days more. But others forced me to go back because of my sick and uneasiness. I have consulted with the doctors and taking medicines. By God's grace and because of all your prayers I will be allright soon.

We have 16 newly christian families in a certain village through our underground ministries of "At Anycost Jesus Mission". All others are Muslims. I sadly found that others (not only the local people, but the organiations who came for the relief activities also) are avoiding christian believers purposely. By God's grace none of  our believers died, but all of them injured and they lost everything. I don't think they will get proper shelters and other helps when they are being relocated. Also believers themself say that they can't be together as a community if government authorities or other organisations taking care of their sheltering . Each families will be relocated in different and distant places among fundamentalists or the people who are related with terrorist groups. In that way their precious faith in Christ and missionary mind could be wiped out. So it is indeed we have to act wisely. Please pray that God may give us counsel and provision to put  these 16 families together to worship Him and witness Him throughout the country.

We are conducting a continuous 48 hours fasting prayer on 20th to 22nd of October regarding this matter. We will be praying for the victims, relief workers and the relief funds to be used sincerely and truthfully where it is exactly needed. (It is a common fact and our experience too in many places that the relief funds are not properly used. Also the christian victims not cared properly and do not get enough helps from many of the relief organisations as well as from the government authorities itslef). Our fasting prayer will be started on 20th (Thursday) afternoon at 3 pm and closed on 22nd (Saturday) afternoon at 3 pm. Wherever you are, you can join with us in prayers at that time.

Right after the fasting prayer another team will be going to the earthquake  stricken  areas with food packets, clothes, medicines and other helps. Once again I want to remind you that ours is an underground ministry over there. So I cannot furnish more details, because of the security problems of the believers and the missionaries.

October 18, 2005 (A 14 year old believer girl Noorjihana serious)

One of the girls who is a believer in Jesus Christ, named Noorjihana of 14 years old is serious. Some of her injuries are deep. Her mother, two sisters and two brothers also have injuries. She doesn't have father with them. He married another lady and left. Please pray for Noorjihana. They badly need prayerful supports.

Terrorists take advantages out of devastation. By their attack, the education minister of the Kashmir Government and some others were killed.

Our 48 hours continuous fasting prayer will be started on 20th (Thursday) afternoon at 3 pm and closed on 22nd (Saturday) afternoon at 3 pm.  Wherever you are, you can join with us in prayers at that time. Mainly we're praying for the victims of the South Asia Earthquake, especially for the relocation of christian believers. Also pray for the volunteers and the voluntary organisations involved in the relief activities.

Pray for the Lord's will to be revealed for the missionary couples, requested permission to go for the underground ministries in a certain place where the people are so fundamentalists. Both husband and wife are accepted Lord Jesus from the religion of Islam and doing His ministry in the midst of persecutions.

October 20, 2005 (Noorjihana died and Jalaliya Masood serious; death roll around 100,000)

Noorjihana, the 14 years old girl died this morning. She was one of the believers in Jesus Christ.

Kindly pray for Jalaliya Masood, another believer in Jesus Christ, also serious. Doctors don't give any hope for him. His injuries are deep. Jalaliya Masood, around 35 years old, is the head of his family. He has a wife and four children. Three girls and a boy. Children are too young. We try our level best to send them helps.

Thousands of earthquake victims dying without getting any of the treatment or any proper treatment. As the unofficial reports, the death roll is around 100,000 now.

We heard that another strong hurricane, named Wilma forming in Atlantic. We specially remembering it in our continuous 48 hours fasting prayer.

Our fasting prayer started at 3 pm. Hundreds are attending for the prayer meeting and thousands are joining with us in prayers from around the world.

October 22, 2005 (Relocating 16 Christian families)

BY God's grace, our 48 hours fasting prayer was a great blessing. Around 400 people participated at the prayer service. Also thousands of prayer warriors joined with us in prayers from around the world. We remembered you and your needs during our intercessions.

Jalaliya Masood was in a critical stage according yesterday's report. But by God's grace,  the report came today that he is somewhat better. Certainly it is because of the prayers from the children of God, we surely believe. Kindly continue praying for him. He is just 35 years of age with wife and four little children. He and his family are the believers of Jesus Christ through our underground ministry.

One more team is getting ready to go for the relief works. They are collecting old clothes, food items, medicines and money.

We are praying to God to enable us to relocate those 16 christian families in a particular area to stay as a community alongwith a community center and a pastor's residence. Nobody else will do it for them. So please pray that our Lord send us helps from above to undertake this project. If we cannot do, I'm sure those believers will be lost. Because no follow up can't be done further when they are scattering in different and distant places. Those who accept Jesus Christ as personal Saviour will keep up their faith; but the coming up generation will not get any follow ups. And there is possibility that they can be used by the terrorist groups and may become the enemies of the church tomorrow. Terrorists are cunning and their calculations are beyond our imaginations. I can't even think if such a situation happen in any of the believers family.

The Scripture says: "It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age, if they fall away, to be brought back to repentence, because to their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace" (Hebrews 6:4-6).

As for me and our ministry, we can't relocate these 16 families alone, unless we get needed supports. I know the wealth and health of many sincere and faithful born again believers are worse than ours and they may not be able to do anything.  God knows each of our hearts. Nobody should carry any burdens more than their capacity. They must take care about themselves and their families first. It is very very important. But I am sure they can pray. They can pray more and more. With prayers they can introduce about this projct of relocating 16 families alongwith a community center and a pastor's residence to the wealthy and capable believers of their church or sister churches. If so, they personally, or through their congregations may help this project with prayers.

During the fasting prayer, our Lord spoke to me to share Ezekiel 3:17-21 to you all.  "Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me. When I say to a wicked man, 'You will surely die,' and you do not warn him or speak out to dissuade him from his evil ways in order to save his life, that wicked man will die for his sin, and I will hold youaccountable for his blood. But if you do warn the wicked man and he does not turn from his wickednes or from his evil ways, he will die for his sin; but you will have saved yourself. Again when a righteous man turns from his righteousness and does evil, and I put a stumbling block before him, he will die. Since you did not warn him, he will die for his sin. The righteous things he did will not be remembered, and I will hold you accountable for his blood. But if you do warn the righteous man not to sin and he does not sin, he will surely live because he took warning , and you will have saved yourself." (Ez 3: 17-21).

Oct 23, 2005 (History behind this ministry)

Some of our praying friends asked me how our ministry started in Indo-Pak border villages. Here is the details.

One of our mission fields situated in a border village of India and Pakistan. It's a remote mountain village of around 8500 feet high. There are hundreds of villages at the northern part of the country, fully dominated by muslims and a good number of youngsters are influenced by the terrorists. It's just because of God's grace alone our ministers are doing a perfect service by the prayers of the children of God. Actually, our ministers also converts from the religion of Islam, well studied how to approach muslims with the Gospel and also they became the part of those communities by their marriage.

There are 39 families in that particular village (sorry, I cannot mention the name of the village, because of the security reasons). Around Five years ago, one of our teams of two ministers have gone there for the evangelistic ministry. Their they found a family with so many problems. The father of the family was paralised and completely bedridden. His wife (mother of the family) was a cancer patient. They were having five children. Two sons and three daughters. But the elder son was in prison in a murder case. Second son found missing. They think he might have joined with the terrorists and killed by the army. Still there is no information about him. Regarding the daughters first one is mentally retard. Second daughter committed suicide because of an illegal pregnancy. Third daughter was unmarried, helping the parents and the sister of mentally retard. The family had no income. One day they were together planning to commit suicide because of the starvation. At the same day, our Lord brought our ministers to that village, particularly that house. They gave all kinds of helps and assistance to them. It was the beginning of our ministry. Slowly the ministers became a part of that family. By this time mother of that house died. The team leader married the girl from that house. Or to say before the death of the father, asked the team leader to marry her daughter. The team leader prayed before God, asked my openion and married her. The second minister, who was suppose to assist the team leader blessed their marriage in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. The whole village accepted their marriage and they all loved the couples. Few days after the marriage, the father of the house also died. Our ministers made contact with all houses at the village. They started a village school for the children and began to teach them Bible stories. Then started educating illierate adults. Now the villagers know how to read and write. They  read  the Bible everyday. By this time our second minister also married a girl from the same community. Both missionary families started sewing schools for the women. Both ministers have two children each. Everyday evening, the villagers and the ministers gathering one of the houses and having a fellowship. It start with prayer. They singing songs, having Bible class, meditating the Word of God and doing intercessions. In this way 16 families accepted Lord Jesus from that village. Others did not accept Jesus, but they don't provoke against the ministry. Because all of the villagers, who are standing stable in Islamic faith thinking that these missionaries as well as their families and the new christian believers are not only harmless, but love the whole village sincerely without looking any religious spirit. Villagers found them helpful for any of their matters. So they love each other and mingling together.

We thought everything going smoothly in that particular village, but the neighboring villages do not like any of the activities of these ministers and  started persecutions. Since their wives are from the same place, many of the local muslims cannot say anything. But the group of fundamentalists (which are related with terrorists) teaching the ordinary local muslims against our ministers and their missionary activities. And the ordinary people of the surrounding villages were thinking very seriously to reject the believers of Jesus from the total community.

It was the time the earthquake stricken in that region. Around 100,000 died, millions injured and lost shelters and everything. The defence people also could not reach for relief services at the border villages in time. The defence services started their relief works after a week only. But by God's grace our ministers informed the need of the volunteers and we sent a team among them and I too went on the spot.

None of our believers died on the days of the earthquake. But almost all of them injured, including our ministers and their families and everybody lost shelters. After 12 days of the incident, a 14 year old girl from a believer's family died. Another man of 35 years old, who is the head of a 5 member family is in critical condition.

It is very important to relocate all these 16 families as a community. If so they stay together, worship together and witness together. By God's grace many others can come to Christ through their unity and witness. Also it is a necessary for us to relocating them together. If we can't take initiative for relocating those families, surely the authorities will relocate each and every families in a different and distant places by the influence of local muslim leaders to wipe our their christian faith and the entire missionary activites.

The people from the general land is not possible to go their without special permission of the defence authorities. Also we are not being allowed to take even a photograph because of the border security problems. So none of the pictures of the terrible earthquake tragedy came out from those remote places. We fully believe, if God has opened us the door to do His ministry over there, certainly He will complete it. ".......... He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus" (Phil 1:4)

October 29, 2005 (Jalaliya masood died; christian families abuse from the Muslims)

Jalaliya Masood, one of the victims of the earthquake tragedy from the believers community has died. He was injured deeply and was in critical condition since last two week. He was a firm believer in Jesus Christ, and also a best helper for our ministers in the mountain village of 8500 feet high. He was about 35 years old. He has a wife and four children below 8 years of age. All children are daughters. His wife is pregnant for the 5th baby.
Our another believer Noorjihana, 14 years old girl died two weeks ago. It was the first death among the believers. Noorjihana has two sisters and two brothers alongwith mother. Her father is not with them, for he married another lady from a distant village and left this family.

16 CHRISTIAN FAMILIES ABUSE FROM THE MUSLIMS: We have 16 families believing in Jesus Christ. Most of them injured by the earthquake and everybody lost their shelters. They are being denied supplies by the Muslims as well as relief organisations (most of the relief organisations are under the control of Muslims). We pray and desire to relocate them together alongwith a community hall and a pastors residence, if God provides needed fund.

THREE EXPLOSIONS IN NEW DELHI JUST MINUTES AGO; AROUND HUNDRED DIED:  A series of explosions shook New Delhi today, tearing through markets jammed with shoppers ahead of an upcoming Hindu festival and killing around 100 people. The initial blast took place in the evening in the main Paharganj market, when it was crowded with shoppers ahead of a major Hindu festival next week. All roads to the scene of the explosion were sealed off by authorities. Minutes later, two more blasts shook the city. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh urged people to remain calm and said in a statement that "India will win the battle against terrorism." The statement was read on CNN by one of his top advisers, Sanjaya Baru, who said the explosions were the work of terrorists.
